
Chiropractic Education
Sherman College doctor of chiropractic curriculum is a 14 academic quarters or 4824 clock hours program specifically aimed to offer a complete chiropractic education. Areas of scientific study include spinal and joint adjustments, anatomy, neurology, bacteriology, pathology, physiology, biochemistry, pediatrics, geriatrics, spinal biomechanics, orthopedics, X-ray, cardiology, nutrition, physiotherapy, gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems, and infectious diseases. Doctors of Chiropractic are not only trained in problems dealing with the spine, but are formally educated in clinical examination and diagnosis of the entire human body.
The course of study is approved by an accrediting agency which is fully recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
