What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these conditions on wellness health.Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills who are trained to correct structural misalignment, recommend therapeutic, rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.
It is important to note that chiropractors seek the origin of the illness in order to eliminate it. For example, if the migraine headache you've had all week is being caused by misaligned vertebra and an irritated nerve, do you continue to take pain killers indefinitely, or do you adjust the vertebra to prevent the pain?
Chiropractic doctors practice natural, drug less,
non-invasive health care by locating, analyzing and adjusting spinal
misalignments, known as vertebral subluxation. A vertebral subluxation is a
misalignment of the bones that irritates the nerve which causes interference
between brain cell and tissue cell, for
example heart cell.
